November 27, 2018 - Happyprinting launches online printing franchise formula

PRESS RELEASE

Utrecht, November 27, 2018

Happyprinting launches online printing franchise formula

Happyprinting launches the first global franchise formula in the online printing sector. Printing companies worldwide can use the online printing platform developed in the Netherlands, in combination with the full Happyprinting marketing package.

"We have built a modern online printing platform, including a strong brand. We use the latest marketing automation tools to create brand awareness. We now share our turn-key solution via the cloud with print partners worldwide. Thanks to our agile work processes, we are able to quickly improve our platform and roll it out internationally. This will result in enormous economies of scale.", according to CEO Sven Rusticus.

With this formula, Happyprinting wants to grow rapidly and launch the brand all over the world. We offer exclusive franchise contracts per country, allowing us to serve a complete country with one partner. Happyprinting uses the capacity of existing local printers and will not print itself.

“It is our vision to build a worldwide network of Happyprinting partners. We approach international print service providers with both digital print as well as offset print capacity. Through our relationships with HP and the HP Indigo branche association Dscoop, we have broad access to print service providers worldwide.", according to Rusticus.

The advantage for our in country partners is that they can benefit from the rapid growth of online printing in their country at low cost. The transition from traditional to online printing, which we have seen in the Netherlands, is still in progress in many countries all over the world or is still to start.

We therefore offer a solution where printers can be online quickly, at low cost and benefit from the Happyprinting brand and Happyprinting marketing knowledge.

Sustainability by printing locally

Unlike some large international online printers, Happyprinting prints its orders locally, close to the end user. Instead of being printed in one country and then transported by air or by road, Happyprinting produces locally in every country where it is active. This is how Happyprinting works on the sustainability of print.

"We presented and tested the franchise concept at Dscoop in Korea and in Vienna. The reactions were overwhelming and has led to a dialogue with printers in eleven countries: France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Latvia, Hungary, Romania, Greece and even South Korea, Australia and New Zealand are excited.", according to COO Jean-Pierre Meijer. “We expect to bring the first countries live in early 2019 and then we’ll continue to grow our global network.”

September 14, 2017 - Online printer Happyprinting has launched

PRESS RELEASE

Utrecht, September 14, 2017

Online printer Happyprinting, with focus on personal service, total solution offerings and innovation, has launched

Happyprinting is a new print platform for business users. Happyprinting differentiates itself by personal service, total solution offerings and innovations. “It’s our mission to create printing experiences that will make our customers, suppliers, partners and employees happy, every day. We print, you smile!”

Happyprinting is founded by Sven Rusticus, former COO of Drukwerkdeal and founder of digital agency Icemedia, together with Jean-Pierre Meijer, former Global IT Director at Dow Chemicals. Nicky Drijvers, previously Drukwerkdeal, has been hired as Commercal Manager.

Our dream

"It is our dream to build an international printing and printing platform that distinguishes itself in terms of service and innovation". Printed matter is an emotional and complex product that requires a lot of attention. Happyprinting therefore offers customization and personal contact with its employees. Customers receive permanent contacts with the latest knowledge of what is happening in print, print and signing. "We visit our customers to get to know each other well and personally". In addition, Happyprinting offers an intuitive, fresh and mobile-friendly website where you can order all your printed matter and print in few clicks.

Branded Packaging

High personal service as a distinctive element. At Happyprinting you can always contact us for the most complicated questions. "We arrange it for you. We print everything from business cards to flags, from tickets to trampoline. We are not called Happyprinting for nothing and continue until you are completely satisfied, "says Rusticus.

An example of Happyprinting's innovation is Branded Packaging. Companies that regularly order printed matter for third parties, such as franchise organizations, advertising agencies, copy shops, print management agencies and resellers, offer Happyprinting the possibility to provide the packaging with their own brand expression. Happyprinting thus gives a brand experience of its customers to their customers. "We are the only platform that offers this innovation", says Drijvers.

Another innovation is the Happyprinting BrandPortal, a portal with which it is very easy to automate the layout of printed matter and sign via smart editors, to guarantee house styles and thus to strengthen the brand identity. Products that are often ordered are stored and linked to a basic layout in the BrandPortal.

Sustainable and local

Happyprinting strives to be the largest print platform without any printing press. "We are not going to purchase machines, because there are enough in the world. Our focus is on our service, our technical platform and of course competitive prices. With this platform, we are able to offer innovative services and efficiently connect the supply of printers and printers in the markets where we operate to the demand of our customers. "

Happyprinting produces close to the customer, so transport costs are low and delivery times are short. "With this we create a wide network of printing companies and can thus serve our customers locally. We work with certified partners in local markets and strive to be the most sustainable printing platform, "says Meijer.

International rollout

Happyprinting has attracted investors who believe in the mission and international opportunities. One of the conditions of the investors was that the domain names of the largest economies would be owned by the company. "We succeeded. We have been able to purchase more than twenty domain names, including those from the United States, China, India and Brazil. In the current era, this is crucial, "says Rusticus.

The technical platform is led by Meijer. Happyprinting uses cloud technologies, saas services and so-called cookbooks for the rollout in a country, both for the platform and the business processes. "Because of this we are very scalable and can quickly roll out in several countries at the same time," says Meijer. The first contacts with foreign partners in the United States and South-East Asia have already been made. "We first put the platform in our home market and are now scaling up", says Meijer.

The print market

The online printing market is growing and is constantly changing. The total market is estimated at $ 898 billion (source: Statistica) and is therefore larger than the music industry. The sector is characterized by overcapacity. In addition, there are many opportunities for automation and process streamlining via the internet. Happyprinting is responding to this by developing an innovative platform that can be rolled out internationally quickly and easily.
